summer has arrived:
ive got a painful burn and i resemble an heirloom tomato.
all my windows are permanently stuck wide open.
i basically live on my rooftop with a book in hand and dolly parton on repeat.
naked > clothing.
everything becomes icy; iced coffee, ice cream, ice baths.
that golden hour where the world is soaked in deep honey sunshine.
sangria is acceptable once again (not that it ever really wasn't, per se...)
strawberries and raspberries taste real and vivid.
i can comfortably drive with the top down on my car, for the first time.
skin is sticky and swimming is always the best idea in the universe.
freckles.
life is warm.
goorgeous. heat is probably better than the icky rainy windy weather over here.

Beautiful post! If this is your poem great work, the only thing I would do is mess around with the order to add more flow, to add coherence as a whole image :) Kind of reminds me of Velvet Underground - would love to see this in a book!
