remember the time you drove all night just to see me in the morning

supple butterscotch leather, unexpected textile combinations, pale peach silk, turtlenecks, mussed up bobs, rose-tinted roundeye sunnies.

just returned from a crazy debaucherous weekend in montreal for the osheaga music festival. i was lucky enough to see many fantastic musical acts including mother mother, city and color, death from above 1979, elvis costello, the sounds, cypress hill, ellie goulding, crystal castles, and MSTRKRFT.
my adolescent dreams were realized when ben gibbard, of death cab for cutie, sweetly sang 'soul meets body'. in the same sort of melting-heart vein, bright eyes put on an absolutely magnificent show, and it literally churned my insides and mesmerized my head. possibly the best live show i have ever experienced.
the flaming lips are known for their pyschedelia and supernatural antics, and wayne coyne sure lived up to his reputation as he emerged in his space ball with strobe lights pulsing in the sky. it was as if the audience were living in an atari video game, eating rainbow popsicles and listening to lsd soaked melodies. definitely a visual fantasy.
the entire weekend was a blur of sunshine, lying beneath trees, feet splattered with mud, face paint, minimal clothing, hazy minds, and beautiful music. thank you osheaga, see you next year !
