what i do is often not much more than an exercise in mundanity
listen to talking heads and big deal and m83 on repeat
write rude things in the frost on my bedroom window
smoke far more than one should
drink more coffee than one should
work late then walk home and its usually freezing
read oscar wilde in the bathtub
sleep under the eleven blankets covering my bed
hear my chest lift and drop and interrupted by raucous coughs
and listen to it on repeat

ReplyDelete&you're right, style that stays the same is tired but for some people,their style always fits into a neat little box and that stuff is distinctly "them" no matter how much time passes or what goes "in" and "out" of style, when my perceived style changes on a day to day basis based on mood-style is exactly what you said, constantly evolving, but for some style evolves rapidly or slowly,i think, based on their personal influences/discoveries/inspirations etc. etc.
&also i was wondering where we'd be in a few years in terms of what most people are into(for example now there's a sort of "neo-goth"/horror punk/whatever thing going on)
agh i could literally talk about this forever!! but i've blah-ed too much!
